There are two routes visitors can travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat:

  • The first route: When you departs from Ho Chi Minh City, goes through the forest of war zone D, Phu Ly forest, Trieu Hai pass, B40 pass, DN4 pass, Ta Dung pass, Ta Dung lake, DN2 pass, Ta Nung pass to reach Da Lat. The advantage of this route is that it is easy to move and safe. However, this route is quite long (about 500 km) and it will be difficult to go when it rains.
  • The second route: The driver moves along Highway 20, passing through Bao Loc Pass, Prenn Pass to reach Da Lat. The distance of this route is only about 300 km, so the traffic time is also shorter. However, the downside is that this route is difficult to go and often crowded.

Note: The distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat is about 307km long and takes about 6-8 hours depending on the route you choose to start your journey. Then, turn left and follow Highway 20 for about 58 km to Ta Lai junction, also known as kilometre 125. From this junction, continue to turn left and go straight for about 24 km to reach Cat Tien National Park.

Note: when you ask for directions around this area, you should specify the location of Cat Tien National Park. Because in Lam Dong province, there is also a place named Cat Tien, so it is easy to get confused.

Route for Nha Trang southern vietnam motorcycle tours

There are 2 ways to go to Nha Trang: the mountain road and the sea route

Mountain road

From the centre of Saigon, you go along Hanoi Highway, then National Highway 1A, turn right at Vo Nguyen Giap Street through Bien Hoa, Trang Bom and so on through Da Lat and finally Nha Trang. With this beautiful landscape on this route, you should go in 2 to 3 days, instead of running a circuit to finish.

You will pass through Tri An Lake with the famous hydroelectric plant and Cat Tien National Park. You can choose to stay here if you want to camp, otherwise you can continue to run to Madagui tourist area to rest. Coming here means that you have reached almost half of the road, then you follow Highway 20 through Bao Loc town and come to Da Lat city. This area has many high passes, including Prenn pass with many dangerous but beautiful bends, so it would be the safest to cross the pass early around 10am – 5pm.

Continue north along DT 723 – Khanh Le pass – DT 652 to reach Nha Trang. This road is quite safe and with a length of only about 130km, you will reach Nha Trang after about 3 hours.

Coastal Route 

If the spectacular scenery of the mountain road is the only thing you could see when crossing the pass, then with the coastal route, you can almost only see the sea for 430 km.

Starting the same as the mountain road, but when coming to Long Khanh town, instead of turning left in the direction of Tri An, keep going straight to cross Long Khanh and then straight a road to Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet.

The journey continues with the beautiful bays of Phan Rang – Phan Ri, and then Cam Ranh Bay with the famous lobster island – Binh Ba island.

The remaining road from Cam Ranh to Nha Trang is only about 60 km, which means it will take more than an hour of riding to reach the destination. However, if you want to witness the best sunrise experience in Nha Trang, departure from Cam Ranh around 4 am, when arriving in Nha Trang will be just in time for the sun to rise.

To reach Chau Doc, there will be 3 routes for you to choose in this journey:

  • The first route: Go straight along Highway 1 to An Thai Trung intersection – the section with An Huu market and then turn right through Cao Lanh – to Cao Lanh ferry along the bank of Tien River to reach Cho Moi. Next, you go through Hau Giang ferry to the shore of Hau river and then go to Nang Gu ferry. Finally, just follow Highway 91 for about 30 km to reach Sam Mountain – an attractive destination in Chau Doc located quite close to the centre of this famous tourist land. This route will take you about 4 hours 30 minutes to more than 5 hours drive.
  • The second route: From Ho Chi Minh City, you would follow National Road 1A towards Tien Giang and then cross My Thuan Bridge through National Highway 80 to go to Sa Dec. Then continue to pass the Vam Cong ferry to Long Xuyen city and follow highway 90 to Chau Doc.
  • The third route: If you are interested in exploring the border area. You will follow the 62 Route towards Binh Hiep border gate, then follow the border line in the direction of Hong Ngu – Tan Chau area and arrive at Chau Doc.

Reservation Process:

Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. To secure your reservation, we request a small deposit, typically ranging from 10% to 30% of the total tour cost

Payment Policies:

When you’re ready to book a tour, we will send you a secure payment link, allowing you to pay the required deposit using your credit cards (3,5% will be surcharged for the bank service fee)

The balance will be paid in full at our shop just before starting the tour. You can pay in cash (USD or Euro) or by credit card (3,5% will be surcharged for the bank fee if you pay by credit card)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • The deposit was not refundable but you can postpone the booking to another time.
  • No refunds in case of bad weather conditions and customers’ reasons. Tour may be delayed by adverse weather conditions, but we take no responsibility in case of tour cancellation
  • If your bike has a technical brake down, we will replace it with the same type of bike and our guide/mechanic will attempt to fix your bike within a day. For technical reasons, your tour may be shortened, You will get a refund for the day you can’t finish
  • If you need to cancel your booking, you have the option to postpone to another time or transfer it to another person. Please note that you will be responsible for any associated administration costs, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your nominee pays the full amount
