My husband and I had one week tour in Vietnam for our honeymoon – We met Chung and Cuong on the last day in Hanoi for the motorbike tour to countryside Hanoi and it was above and beyond the best thing we did. Not only was it a blast to see the countryside on a motorbike (though riding through the downtown area was terrifying albeit a fascinating experience), but the guys took us to some incredible spots we never would have experienced without them.

We drove crossing the rice fields on dirt roads, past women knee-deep in small streams hunting for snails and men walking their buffalo. We learned about the graves spotted through the farmlands and the custom of the Local Vietnamese people. We had tea with Chung’s grandfather in a typical Viet home. We ate a huge lunch in ancient Duong Lam village. We drank incredibly coffee on the side of the road. And when we moaned a little about having seen way too many pagodas and temples on our trip, Chung said, “trust me on this one” and took us to the most beautiful (quiet! tourist free!) pagoda we’d ever seen. Basically, it was everything you would want from a tour – off the beaten path, led by locals and filled with stunning scenery and good food.
