Start this great motorbike tour from Saigon at 9 AM from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. We will be at Cu Chi tunnel after around 2 hour motorbike ride through some villages in the countryside to the North of Saigon, spend around 2 hours to discover the tunnel and learn more about the history of Vietnam War. After lunch, we keep riding through some large rubber tree garden to Dong Xoai town where the Ho Chi Minh trail end in the south of Vietnam. A car license alone or an IDP not from the 1968 convention will not be sufficient, and riding without the proper documentation can invalidate your travel insurance and result in fines.
Your original home country motorbike license: This must be a valid license that specifically includes a motorcycle endorsement. An IDP issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention: This is the most crucial document for tourists.
Your IDP must be issued by a country that is a signatory to the convention. You can get this from your home country before you travel. Carry both documents: You must have both your original license and the IDP with you at all times when riding.
