To get to Cat Tien National Park, you will follow Highway 1A from Sai Gon to Day Giay junction about 67 km. Then, turn left and follow Highway 20 for about 58 km to Ta Lai junction, also known as kilometre 125. From this junction, continue to turn left and go straight for about 24 km to reach Cat Tien National Park.
Note: when you ask for directions around this area, you should specify the location of Cat Tien National Park. Because in Lam Dong province, there is also a place named Cat Tien, so it is easy to get confused.
There are 2 ways to go to Nha Trang: the mountain road and the sea route
Mountain road
Starting from the center of Saigon, you follow Hanoi Highway, then National Highway 1A, turning right at Vo Nguyen Giap Street through Bien Hoa, Trang Bom, and onwards through Da Lat, finally reaching Nha Trang. With the beautiful landscapes along this route, a 2 to 3-day journey is recommended to fully enjoy the experience, rather than rushing to complete the circuit. This makes for an ideal adventure on Southern Vietnam motorbike tours.
You will pass through Tri An Lake with the famous hydroelectric plant and Cat Tien National Park. You can choose to stay here if you want to camp, otherwise you can continue to run to Madagui tourist area to rest. Coming here means that you have reached almost half of the road, then you follow Highway 20 through Bao Loc town and come to Da Lat city. Continue north along DT 723 – Khanh Le pass – DT 652 to reach Nha Trang. This road is quite safe and with a length of only about 130km, you will reach Nha Trang after about 3 hours.

The journey continues with the beautiful bays of Phan Rang – Phan Ri, and then Cam Ranh Bay with the famous lobster island – Binh Ba island.
